Our Boston Terrier puppies are raised in our house with our other animals and children. They are handled from birth so by the time they go to their new home they love people! It is very important to us that our puppies are well adjusted and prepared for life outside our home.
ENS Biosensory training: Every puppy has extensive early neurological stimulation as well as puppy learning games using the Puppy Culture method. Here is an article that describes this type of handling and why it is beneficial. When their ears open we start playing a noise desensitization program, which is a loop of sounds such as a garbage truck, cat fight, pots and pans banging etc. When your puppy goes home you will find that they are well adjusted and prepared for whatever adventure you have in store for them! *Deworming 2, 4 , 6 and 8 weeks of age: We begin our deworming protocol even before the puppies are born. Many parasites that may be carried by the mother can be transmitted to the puppies in utero. We start deworming our moms two weeks before their due date. Once the babies are born We use two different types of dewormer to cover a broad spectrum of parasites. We use Pyrantel at 2 and 4 weeks of age, and Fenbendazole (Panacure) at 6 and 8 weeks of age. *Preventative coccidia and giardia treatments. Since we live on a ranch with a lot of livestock and wild critters we work hard to keep protozoa like coccidia and giardia at bay. When your puppy is sent home you are also provided a three day dose of Fenbendazole and Metronidazole to ensure they are parasite free in their new home. *Age appropriate vaccines: We administer NEO PAR at 4 weeks of age and a Distemper/Parvo vaccine at 8 weeks of age. NeoPar is the only vaccine that stimulates a puppies production of their own antibodies when maternal antibodies are still present. This ensures your baby is extra protected from Parvo as they are already producing what they need to fight it. We stand behind the health and quality of our puppies but in the event there is an issue we want our families to be covered. All of our dogs are genetic tested before breeding. If you would like to see a copy of our Boston Terrier Puppy Contract and Guarantee just let us know and we will happily send you a copy
Due to new airline regulations Boston Terriers can not be shipped in cargo. You must either hire a Pet Nanny or fly in. I can meet you at Sacramento International Airport. I always recommend flying in to get your puppy in person. . You can take your puppy in the cabin with you in a Sherpa Bag as seen here .
